Case: 18k pink gold, screwed on back, 18k "Omega" pink gold deployant clasp. Dial: silvered, applied indexes, centre seconds, blued luminous leaf hands.  Movm.: rotorwind movement, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, co-axial escapement, Glucydur balance, shock protection for balance, cam type fine adjusting device.

José Sobral de Almada Negreiros (1893-1970)

José Sobral de Almada Negreiros was a Portuguese all-round artist who worked as a novelist, painter, cartoonist, illustrator, poet, essayist, dancer, stage and costume designer and playwright. As a painter he was one of the most important Portuguese artists of the 20th century and many public buildings in Spain and Portugal are furnished with his works.
